Two weeks, two days

I can't believe my baby girl is already over 2 weeks old! I feel like she's growing up so fast, and at the same time somehow I feel like I've been Auria's mommy forever. It's a weird thing to try to explain. Despite the exhaustion it's been the most amazing 14 days ever! :)

The past couple of days it's just been Auria and me on our own... no Daddy or Oma helping out. After having them around the first two weeks I wasn't sure how we'd do solo, but we've done just fine! Yesterday we did nothing but eat, sleep, and dance around the house...I didn't even get a shower. Ooh, I almsot forgot, Auria lost her umbilical cord yesterday! My girl is so big!

Today, I took a shower, we went to "The 4th Trimester" (which was great because we got to see some Bradley friends and got to chat mommy stuff), stopped by Horizons for a few, then came home for some relaxing time. I must say I was really proud of myself for getting a shower AND for getting to the mommy group on time! It's the little things ;)

Tomorrow we're going to Oma's for Korean food! Since we had kind of a big day today (I know it doesn't sounds like a big day but when you're a new mommy with a 2 week old baby, it is!) we're going to take our time getting out of the house tomorrow. We don't really have any other plans so we're just going to enjoy hanging out with Oma and the kids and eat some yummy grub! Sounds like a great day to me :) I love hanging out with Auria - it's going to be so hard when I have to go back to work.... but we don't have to deal with that right now so we're not gonna talk about it :p

I want to be better about blogging so I can remember every second of this awesome time in our lives but it's really hard because if I'm blogging, I'm missing out on something! On that note, gotta go love on my baby girl now!
