After the appointment I had some errands to run and then went to see an old friend from high school and her 1-month old baby boy, Talon. She looked great and Talon is absolutely precious! It was great catching up with her -it's been years since we've seen each other- but I think it was even more fun since we're both in the same new mommy phase right now. Of course we chatted about our pregnancies and she told me about her delivery. Not that her birth story was exactly what she planned but it was definitely nice (& encouraging) to hear about an overall pleasant experience! We also determined that Talon and Auria will make a fine couple someday and we've decided they shall be married ;)
By the time I got home it was just about time to head back out for our final Bradley class. We spent the last class making bracelets, chatted about any remaining birth fears, heard another lovely birth story, & enjoyed a yummy pot-luck breakfast themed dinner! The bracelets are a really cool thing because each couple brought a bead to represent them and the idea is that we'll all wear them until each of us delivers our babies. After the last couple has their baby (that'd be us) we're all getting together for a reunion so we'll get to see everyone's babies! I think that will be pretty neat, I mean, we did spend a couple of hours a week with these people over the past 12 weeks so it only seems right that we should get to see the end results!
Here's a pic of the bracelet I made:

(Our bead is the red & black one! And for memories sake I guess I'll also document that the order in which people are due is as follows: Star, Blue, Pink&White, Sun/Moon, Red&Black... & the pink w/ green one is for our birthing instructor, Dori)
We're getting closer and closer & I'm getting more and more excited. Hopefully I can get my lazy butt in gear to get everything taken care of in the next few weeks. I figure if I don't we'll still manage... the people on "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" did! Haha!
Alright, la-dee-da, that's all I've got for now.
