I feel pregnant!

Hmm, let's see what's been going on....

We enjoyed our last kid-free vacation with the Heckel family! It was nice to spend a week with my hubby, no work, no stress, just relaxing on the beach & eating lots of good food! The weather was actually much better there than it has been at home which was quite a nice surprise.

We had shower #2 on Saturday which was great. I got to see some friends and family I don't see often and we got lots of stuff we needed to finish getting ready for baby girl to arrive! It was also really cool to realize that the next time I see a lot of those people we'll be introducing them to Auria!!! :)

Yesterday was my 25th birthday. It wasn't anything super special but it was a good day. Breakfast with Dixie before she drove back home. Lunch @ Ichiban with Josh & Swiss. A trip to Verizon to get mine and Josh's phones fixed. Dinner with Josh's family @ Mark's Feed Store to celebrate mine, Josh, & Nicky's bdays.
Birthdays have kind of lost their luster for me - which I suppose is good timing since I'm a mommy now and it's all about baby girl! I think that was my favorite part of it being my birthday... that, even though nothing fabulous happened, it WAS the best birthday ever because I have my sweet little bundle of sweetness growing in my belly! I'm so in love with her!

I'm getting super anxious for her to get here! We still have about 9 weeks until our EDD though so I guess I'm going to have to continue to be patient. I'm pretty sure she's excited to see what's going on out here on the other side of mommy's belly... her kicks are so strong and I often feel very boney parts jabbing me like she's really trying to make some more room or find her way out, haha! It's just as well that we still have several weeks before she gets here though because there is still lots to do before we're really ready.

Okay, it's been a long day, I'm exhausted, and daddy's on his way home from class so - until next time....
