Whew!

We had a little scare this morning - I was having some cramping and some other stuff they don't love to happen when you're pregnant so the docs office said to go to the ER to get checked out. Yeah, that definitely had me freaked out! God was definitely looking out for us today from the beginning bc normally it's difficult for me to get in touch with Josh while he is at work unless I can catch him on his break and that's just how it worked out today, thank goodness. He picked me up and work & we went to Clark where we had to get checked in and they sent a wheelchair down to take me to the L&D floor. *Note: I was not excited about having to ride through the hospital in the chair but they made me, lol. We got up to the floor and I had to put on a gown (oh geez) and then they hooked me up to a monitor to keep track of contractions & Auria's heartbeat (we got to listen to her sweet galloping heartbeat for quite a while :D). Blah, blah, blah they checked everything out and decided that everything looked good so they sent us home and now I just have to see the midwife next week just for a check up (and to meet her since it will be my first official visit to this practice).

While we're on the subject: My previous OB's office was not very helpful with things today, as I am in the proccess of changing care providers bc of my decision to deliver at Clark, but thankfully the people at the new office I'm going to were GREAT! Also, everyone we came across at Clark today was really great too & I feel even better now about my plans to deliver there.

Now I'm at home relaxing after a big lunch... it was about 11 when we left for the hospital and we didn't get out of there until after 1 so momma was hungry! ;) In the end, we're all good and I'm very happy to know my baby girl is fine!
