Stuff.

Well, I'm still adjusting to my new life with glasses. It's quite unusual to be wearing them all of the time since the last time I wore glasses - like, 10 years ago - they were for reading so I only wore them for short periods of time. I must say though, it's really fantastic to see everything so clearly again! It's like I upgraded to HD eyes, haha!

I've got the sniffles & sneezies right now thanks to my allergies and our crazy weather. That really effected my sleepy time (or lack thereof) last night. Auria didn't want to settle down until very late, and then I woke up with allergy crap around 3 & couldn't get back to sleeep so.... I took advantage of "Cyber Monday"! I got a few things from Babies R Us that I've been wanting/needing to get. Then I checked out a website a friend recommended for bows, flower clips, & headbands for Auria. The prices were amazing - at least compared to the place my mom had bought a few from - so I picked out a few items there too to expand Auria's collection :)

After that I called Babyology to schedule a lactation consult & they said they could get me in today so I got A & myself ready and off we went! I'm really glad we went because now I've got a better idea of where I am, and where I need to be (and most importantly how to get there!) with building up my milk supply so we can get Auria off the formula supplement. I'm definitely glad formula exsists since we're in need BUT I'd really prefer to be able to breastfeed exclusively! Anyway now I'm hopeful, and confident, that we can make that happen!

I'm excited that tomorrow is Tuesday, that means mommy group day! I really enjoy getting out of the house for one, and I also love getting that time to chat with my other new mommy friends! Plus, it's just adorable to be in a room full of newborn babies! :)

Okay, one more thing to mention before I wrap this up: Next week my little girl will be 6 weeks old! That means.... we (more like I) begin our CD experimenting! I'll be posting details as we go along so that should be interesting to say the least. I'm trying many different varieties - from the classic pre-folds to the all-in-one's! We'll see what works for us, and what leaves us with stories that will probably be funnier later on, lol! Stay tuned ;)
