I've been very emotional recently and I'm blaming my pregnancy hormones. I was just reading an email from one WhatToExpect.com about what's going on with my pregnancy & baby this week. When I got to this one particular section the tears started streaming:
Your baby is almost certainly listening up by now. In fact, loud noises — the dog barking, the doorbell ringing — will actually startle your baby (and also get him or her used to such noises; for instance, fetuses who regularly hear a dog barking will become babies who sleep right through Fido's outbursts).
It's so completely amazing to think that not only can baby hear my voice, but he/she can even hear puppy-brother Edward, and even more precious to think about - baby can hear Daddy! Maybe it's silly to be so touched by the thought of that but my eyes are getting wet again right now. I can't wait til Josh gets home now so he can say hi to our little one ;)
You're going to make me cry reading this! I try and talk to the baby as much as I can! Especially when I'm driving in the car - I just turn the radio off and talk!
